Ryan Essmaker is a designer and creative director, living and working in Manhattan. He is cofounder of The Great Discontent, a magazine featuring interviews on beginnings, creativity, and risk, which he publishes with his partner-in-crime, Tina Essmaker.
In January 2014, Ryan took the leap and left his day job to focus on The Great Discontent and other content-related projects with Tina via No Little Plans, their creative studio based in New York City.
Away from his desk, you can find him with camera in hand, taking photos while exploring the streets of New York, or hanging out with good company at some of his favorite haunts around the city.
Ryan shares his thoughts in 140 characters or less on Twitter, posts photos to Instagram, Tumblr, and Flickr, occasionally publishes works in progress at Dribbble, and incessantly listens to music via Rdio.
